1.1 Apologies were received from Mick Antoniw. Mike Hedges and Jenny Rathbone attended as substitutes in the morning and afternoon respectively.
2. One-day inquiry into venous thrombo-embolism prevention - Oral evidence
2.1 The witnesses responded to questions from members of the Committee on venous thrombo-embolism prevention.
3. Inquiry into Residential Care for older people - Feedback of engagement work to date
3.1 The Committee discussed their engagement work on the inquiry into Residential Care for older people.
4. Forward work Programme
4.1 The Committee discussed the forward work programme and agreed to undertake further discussions at a future meeting.
5. One-day inquiry into venous thrombo-embolism prevention - Oral evidence
5.1 The witnesses responded to questions from members of the Committee on venous thrombo-embolism prevention.
5.2 The Health Board representatives agreed to provide information on the number of legal cases brought against Health Boards in relation to hospitalised acquired venous thrombo-embolism, should the information be available.
6. Papers to note
6.1 The Committee noted the minutes of the meeting held on 2 May.
7. Motion under Standing Order 17.42(vi) to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for item 7
7.1 The Committee agreed the motion.
